I put this in the wrong place earlier but regarding melatonin 2. My pet hamster Thor has been receiving injections of melatonin 2 for some time now introductory dose because he was very fair-skinned as hamsters are I started out with 10 I use and then proceeded to give him between 3 to 5 I use per week the only noticeable side effects that he's mentioned is possibly a headache for one or two days but it's very mild and easily managed with any other medications
