You’re absolutely correct. There are people that don’t need to donate blood. And to say EVERYBODY has to would be a gross generalization. Your labs will let you know if you need to. You can also get a “prescription” from Royal Men’s for blood donations. It lasts for a year. You simply call the Special Donation line and make an appointment at the Red Cross. When you go in, they can instantly check your Hemoglobin level in a machine (you saw it in my video) with a couple drops of blood to see if it’s high. You might do that for the first month or so to gauge whether or not you need phlebotomy in the first place. If it’s not high, you just go home.
